A right lover shall know first the heart of God
Before he seeks another he will know true love.
Children know their mother’s breast and
Dawn sees more clearly at light’s first kiss.
Ever changing man will never settle enough to know God’s constancy,
Forever sailing, he cannot capture the raging waters of the ocean.
God knows a man’s heart and the
Heaviness of night’s veil falls on him.
I long to be a right lover, as
Jesus desired to do the will of Him who sent him.
